Happy April Fool’s Day! Can you believe it is April already? This month is going to be a fun one. I am heading to Colorado in a couple weeks and my one year blogiversary is coming up too! Do you have anything exciting going on this month?
Do you ever receive something and forget to try it on with different bottoms before you actually shoot the look? Yeah…. I forgot to do that. I thought the top was short enough to wear with shorts, but that wasn’t the case, so I just sucked it up and tucked it in on the side. I think it turned out okay, but I personally think it would look best with a pair of white crop jeans paired with some wedges.
When I picked out this top from Rosemary Avenue Boutique, I instantly thought of the beach – pair it with a cute beach tote and your ready for the beach. It is so flowy and effortless and I love the lace detailing along the top. And these shorts?! How cute is the lace detailing peaking underneath the shorts?! The weather here in Iowa has been so bipolar lately. It was 81 on Sunday and today it was only in the 40’s 🙁 I love my little dachshund – he is seriously my little baby and he loves wearing his little bunny ears.

I had the SAME thing happen!! I got a “dress” that is way too short to be a dress but way too long to wear with shorts/pants so I’m like stumped on what to do with it because it’s way cute. I decided to make it into a beach cover up! It’s a super cute top though…will be fun to wear for the 4th of July 🙂
