Hey babes! Style X Style is finally back! September was so busy for Taylor and I that we didn’t have time to squeeze in a post. Before I get started I would like to introduce Victoria from A Gallon of Glitter (ironic how we both love glitter, ha). She will be joining us in the series – Taylor and I are so excited to have her be a part of this with us.
This month we decided to style something suede. Suede is oh so popular this fall and can be styled in so many different ways. I went with a black suede skirt (I also have it in brown). Black is one of my favorite colors to wear in the fall because so many colors can be worn with it. I paired it with this lace up top that I am obsessed with. It gives off a super sassy and sexy look.
I finally stepped out of my comfort zone with chokers. I used to not wear them because I thought they looked funny on me since I have a long neck. Well, thanks to my friends from NYFW and Baublebar, they convinced me to fall in love with them and I am so glad I did. I love this lace one and I also like how it ties in the front too.
P.S. Can we talk about how gorgeous the lighting is in these photos?! My mom captured these shots at the perfect time.
Head to Taylor’s blog (Style Is Everything Blog) and Victoria’s blog ( A Gallon of Glitter) to see how they styled their suede pieces.
What would you like to see us style next month? Let me know in a comment below.
Thanks so much for reading and have a great day! xx

The detail of the lace up top really adds a lot to this outfit. You look great! Your photos are very pretty!
Thanks so much Jena! I really like how they turned out.
This is great and I love the time of day that you took your photos. I have a gut feeling it was cold, was it! I hate pretending not to be cold in a picture (you weren’t mine just always look goofy) And I love the new choker look.
Thanks Heather! I think we took these photos around 6pm. It wasn’t actually cold. I think it was in the 60’s-70’s.
I have been seeing a lot of suede lately. I don’t own any but I’m thinking maybe it’s time.
I can’t believe you don’t own any suede! It’s so popular!
This is such a pretty look!! I’m in love with that choker!! It’s so fab and you’re lighting is great too!!
