Hi everyone! I hope you weekend turned out better than mine did. As I mentioned in Friday’s post, Gavin and I were headed to Chicago for the weekend. We got there, but it wasn’t long after until we left to go home. We arrived at our hotel at 3pm. I went to the front desk to check us in and come to find out, I booked our room for the wrong night. I ended up booking us for the next night (Sunday) and the following two nights through Expedia. Of course the rooms for the night we needed were all booked, so the receptionist called across the street to the OMNI hotel and said that she was able to get us a deal on a room there, so we walked across the street and tell the receptionist there, that the Warwick hotel sent us here and that they were able to get us a room here for a good deal. Come to find out, she never called that hotel at all. The receptionist at the OMNI then tells us that we could get a room at the Marriot 8 blocks down the street. To say the least, we were very frustrated and not pleased with our visit at both the hotels, so we ended up driving home that night. Hopefully the next time we visit Chicago, we will have a better experience and that I won’t book our room for the wrong night.
I intended to have looks from Chicago up on the blog this week, but since that didn’t work, I had to throw this look together. So let’s dive right in. I was originally going to wear this top with a skirt I was going to wear in Chicago, but I decided not to wear the skirt and paired it with these crop jeans from American Eagle for an all black and white look. You could also pair this blouse with a pencil skirt that would make a great office look.
Thanks for reading and have a great day.

oh no! I’m so sorry that didn’t work out 🙁 how rough. The outfit is very cute though – black and white will always be one of my favorite combos.

Your blouse is really cute, so sorry to hear you didn’t have a good experience. Hoteliers aren’t always the friendliest even though their job is LITERALLY to make everyone feel welcome since they’re in the hospitality industry. I hope you visit again soon & have a fantastic time next time around 😉 xx adaatude.com

Thanks Adaleta! I just couldn’t believe that she lied to us about getting us a room across the street. Gavin had to step in and take over because I was loosing my cool, lol.
