Denim Skirt Trend Is Back

Happy last day of August! 🙂 I hope you all had a great weekend! It was so nice to just stay home and relax since the past 3 weekends we have been gone. Just as I thought Summer was coming to an end, the temperatures jump right back into the 90’s (but hey, I’m not complaining). I’ve already learned what causes ac short cycling and had my ac fixed just in time for summer. Getting a new ac installation may be more practical if your old ac unit keeps malfunctioning.

I can’t believe denim skirts are coming back! I never thought I would see myself wearing one again, since the last time I wore one was in elementary school, ha! I saw the style of this denim skirt and I really liked how it buttoned down in the front and had pockets so when I came across the very LAST one sitting on the shelf, so I snagged it up.

I also picked up this orange sweater from Forever 21 . The first thing I thought of when I picked this sweater up was fall. I love the color of it and that it is a thicker material which is perfect for cool, crisp, fall days. Overall, I really love how this entire outfit turned out. I wanted to incorporate some fall in it, but I still wanted to keep it a bit summery, so I did just that. To change up the denim skirt, I would also pair a light weight top and add some heels to it, for a dressier look.

    LOVE this outfit! It’s so classy and vintage but the jewelry makes it more modern.
    Also, I have seen a huge step up with your photos as of late! These are so high quality!

      Awww, thanks so much Cailyn! My mom started taking my photos when I moved backed and she uses a Canon Rebel- really nice camera. She also takes professional photos too.

    I LOVE those booties!! And I haven’t jumped aboard the jean skirt coming back trend yet but I keep seeing it everywhere and I love it! Also super jealous you’re wearing a sweater haha it’s still SO hot here!

      Thanks Samantha! Don’t be jealous because I was sweating bullets when I wore it for photos and not to mention it has almost been 100 degrees this week with heat index.

    I LOVE the denim skirt trend and now I am on the lookout for a denim midi skirt with buttons down the middle. You look great in your skirt- I actually have one from Forever 21 as well but it’s a bit darker.
