For today’s blog post, I am switching things up a bit. Gavin is taking over the blog and sharing 5 things that are on his wishlist for Father’s Day. It took some bribing but I got him to do it 😉 So here he goes!
Hey guys, Gavin speaking here. Amanda invited me to speak on the blog today to share some of my picks for Father’s Day. I have been kayaking a lot lately with the intentions of getting into whitewater kayaking. The sport will require a lot of driving since Iowa doesn’t have much to offer for natural whitewater, so today I am sharing some items that would be necessary to bring along with you while you are outdoors kayaking.
Go Pro for recording my Kayaking Trips
A one man tent for future overnight trips on the river.
PFD suit for rescues on the river. A must have for whitewater kayaking.
My job requires carrying around tools all day so these Suspenders would come in handy with my tool belt while I’m working throughout out the day. It will also help take some of the weight off of my waist and reduce rubbing.
A new pair of shoes for all the walks we have been going on with Kam Bam (aka Kamden).

Go Pro is definitely a good gift to get any guy! My hubby got me one for Christmas a few years back and I love it!
