Today’s post is very touching to me. When Headbands of Hope reached out to me, I was so excited to collaborate with them! If you haven’t heard of them before, I am here to tell you more. Headbands of Hope was launched in 2012 by Jess Ekstrom after she did an internship with a wish-granting organization in college. Jess saw that a lot of the little girls in the hospital loved headbands so that’s how all this came to life. She wanted to make sure that every girl in the hospital felt beautiful. Now HOH donates a headband to a child with cancer for every headband sold. They have officially donated to every hospital in the United States and now every little girl feels beautiful without hair thanks to their gorgeous headbands. Have you bought your headband yet? What a great way to give a child with cancer a reason to smile. I don’t wear headbands, but I’ll gladly buy one just to help a child feel beautiful.
I absolutely love the cause behind it. I’m sure they would gladly take donations.
