Happy Friday! It’s officially my birthday weekend I am so excited! Tomorrow night I am going out to a few bars and dressing up for Halloween and then on Sunday my mom and I are taking Kamden to another pumpkin patch. What are you plans for the weekend? Are you going to a Halloween party?

I have been loving black and white plaid for fall, so I had to pick up this high waisted plaid mini skirt when I saw it at American Eagle the other day. Plaid is a must-have for fall and I just think that this plaid mini skirt is just daring. I am in a 00 and it fits just right and I love that it has pockets. I think you could even dress the skirt up more by wearing black tights, a blouse and a pair of high heels for the holidays. How you would style this skirt? Let me know in a comment below.

    Super cute look with the OTK boots! You could also throw that on with tights and combat boots for a comfy fall casual ensemble.

    Happy birthday! It sounds like you’re going to have a fun weekend celebrating. For Halloween, my boyfriend and I dressed up as Mike and Sully, and we met some friends downtown for an event. It was a lot of fun! I am absolutely in love with this skirt. It is so 90s to me.
