Wow! I am crazy for saying this but I am so glad it’s Monday! The past week has been full of traveling and I am so glad I finally get to relax today before I am in a wedding this weekend and Utah a couple days after. If you follow me on snapchat: (amandaglandorf), then you saw that I was camping over the weekend. It was so much fun, but I got burnt. So today, I am sharing a few photos from our camping trip that I posted on Instagram.

The tent got the best of us on night one. Gavin and I forgot to pack and air mattress to put in the tent so we both hardly got any sleep because it was so uncomfortable.

After going on an 11 mile bike ride in 90 degree weather, ice cream was a must.

Our annual canoeing/kayaking day is always the highlight of our trip because it always ends with a huge water gun fight and polar plunging.

This is by far the coolest waterfall in Iowa. There are stairs you can walk up to get to the top or you can just walk up on the grass from the side. There is also a small cave at the top too.

    What gorgeous photos! Loved seeing your pics via IG as you went through the trip – and was impressed how you slept not a wink, but then did major physical activity the next day! You go, girl!

      Thanks Karen! All the exercising felt amazing, but let me tell ya, I was surely out of shape during the run and the bike ride, lol.

    This looks…. fun? Like I said I am SO not the camping type, granted I haven’t ever really given it a chance. I’ve stayed in cabins before, but camping definitely seems to be far from my interests but I definitely love hearing about it. I’m one of those non-camping types hahaha! xx Adaleta Avdic

      Haha, at least you are being honest. I used to be the same way and hated to go camping and getting dirty. Well as you can see now, that has changed. You should try it sometime, because you might end up liking it 🙂
