Your baby turning one is such a bittersweet milestone. I still can’t believe he is one. I wanted to be able to look back on his birthday so I had Kamden do a 1st Birthday cake smash. My mom was able to capture some adorable shots during his cake smash photo shoot. He is such a joy to watch in front of the camera – he is always so happy and laughing.
I was surprised when Kamden hardly made a mess with his cake. He only had a quarter of it touched and he managed to keep his outfit clean. There was a moment during his photo shoot where he wanted nothing to do with the camera, so we gave him a blue egg to make him happy. He had fun holding it and putting in in his cake. I love how these photos turned out and they are ones I will cherish forever.

I linked everything in the photos above except the big bow tie. Gavin made it for his birthday party out of plywood and then spray painted it.

These photos are adorable!! My son barely touched his cake either! I ended up having to cut a huge chunk of it for him. On the bright side, he didn’t get that messy so that was definitely a plus!
