Nashville is a place I wanted to cross of my bucket list for a very long time. The city that has no shortage of food hot spots to go, where you can play games like w88fm.com, with its country music scene (after all, it is the top music city’s of the world).
Before You Go: Tips For Planning A Nashville Trip
1. Prioritize What You Want to See, Do & Eat
There is so much to do in Nashville, so if you are planning on going only a couple days like we did, it will be impossible to fit everything in. I made a giant list of all the recommendations that I received from friends and Pinterest. Then I organized it by type of activity, restaurants Lynchburg, Instagram worthy spots, and location. This helped us plan our days and make sure we didn’t feel like we missing anything really important to us like the Country Music Hall of Fame, Broadway, The Murals, & Taco Bar!
2. Make Dining Reservations In Advance
There are so many amazing restaurants in Nashville, therefore they are busy, especially on the weekends, so be sure to call and make a reservation, if you are able to do so.
3. Check The Weather & Pack Accordingly
We visited Nashville the first week of May, and they were well into spring which meant that they were having warm and humid temps during the day, and then it was cooler in the evenings. I packed 2 pairs of jeans, 1 pair of shorts, 2 dresses, a romper, cowgirl booties (I wore every day), & then a denim jacket. You are going to be doing a lot of walking, so be sure to bring a pair of comfortable shoes that you can wear all day long.
4. Decide If You Should Rent A Car
Many of the neighborhoods are fairly spread out, so we took an Uber every day which works as good as Premium limo service in Scottsdale here. Our hotel was 3-4 blocks from Broadway, so we were able to walk there. Uber’s did add up, but it was cheaper than renting a car every day. If you’ve been in a work related car accidents who is responsible? According to Tingey Injury Law Firm, an employer is generally responsible for any costs incurred when an employee causes a car accident while performing work duties, even if the car is privately owned.
If you’re seeking treatment for injuries sustained in such accidents, consider visiting pain clinic sioux falls sd for specialized care and pain management solutions. These clinics offer a range of services tailored to alleviate discomfort and promote recovery, ensuring you receive the comprehensive care you need.hville
We stayed at The Bode hotel. I did a hotel review on it a couple weeks ago. You can read all about it HERE.
Day 1: 5 Daughter’s Bakery, Exploring 12 South, Bar Taco
Our very first time in Nashville was to Five Daughter’s Bakery. I read online to get there early in the morning before the donuts are gone, but we got there at 11am, & there were plenty of donuts still left. I got a chocolate sprinkled donut and it was so good! I loved their donut mural that they had outside of the bakery!
Five Daughter’s Bakery: 1110 Caruthers Ave, Nashville, TN 37204
AMELIA’S FLOWER TRUCK: THIS TRUCK MOVES BUT IT’S ALWAYS ON 12TH SOUTH DURING THE DAY
(IT’S NORMALLY ACROSS FROM BARTACO: 2526 12TH AVE S)
Amelia’s Flower Truck was at the top of my list of places to stop at while visiting Nashville. This flower truck moves around Nashville, and you can put together your own bouquet of flowers.
We ate at Bartaco for lunch and I loved the coastal vibes – it felt like we were eating at a local oceanside restaurant. Their tacos weren’t like your regular tacos. You got to choose what you wanted on them by checking it off on a sheet of paper at your table. Their drinks were delicious and were freshly made.
Day 2: Pancake Pantry, The Gulch, Country Music Hall of Fame, Broadway
A few locals recommended the Pancake Pantry because they serve the best pancakes in Nashville! They said to arrive when they open 6am, because the line will be out the door. We didn’t arrive until 10-10:30, and the line was out the door around the building. The line moved fast & I’m glad we waited, because the pancakes were so worth the wait.
Gulch’s “What Lifts You” Wings: 302 11th Ave S
I had a list of murals that I wanted pictures in front of, so I planned my outfits according to match. There were probably 10-20 people in front of us in line, but the line moved quickly. If you plan on stopping by any of the murals in the Gulch, plan to wait in line.
Acoustic Skyline: 915 Division St, Nashville, TN 37203
The Country Music Hall of Fame & Museum was at the top of our list of things to see in Nashville. If you go between 9am-3pm it’s $25 to get in. If you go at 4 it will only cost you $15 but you only have an hour to get through 2 floors. We went at 4 and were able to browse through everything. If you are someone that likes to read, I highly suggest going sooner than 4pm so you have enough time to read everything.
This was by far one of my favorite outfits that I wore while in Nashville! I wore this out when we went down to Broadway and I got so many compliments on this!
We ate at Jason Aldean’s Restaurant, before hitting up some of the bars downtown. I had the pasta with chicken and it was really good. We ate here at 9pm and it was busy so we were lucky to find a table upstairs. I highly recommend making a reservation if you are wanting to eat here.
Nashville comes in second place for the city that doesn’t sleep. Broadway was booming, and there were so many brides having their bachelorette parties here. You could event rent buses, fire trucks, or pedal bikes throughout Nashville.
This photo of my mother-in-law, sister-in-law and I was taken on the rooftop at Jason Aldean’s. We actually met a few guys that lived in Nashville so they took us around to the best bars in Nashville.
Day 3: Broadway, Ole Red Nashville, John Seigenthaler Pedestrian Bridge
Our last full day in Nashville was very chill. We didn’t get out of bed till 11am or 12pm and then didn’t leave the hotel until 2. We were out until 3am when the bars closed so we were very tired.
We ate at Ole Red for lunch and it was yet again very busy. They had some live music which was fun to listen to while we were eating.
After we were done eating, we did some exploring and came across the big John Seigenthale Pedestrian Bridge. It’s actually one of the largest bridges in the world and you could see so much of Nashville from the bridge. If you ever visit, you might also want to try luxery transportation to make the experience even more memorable.
They had a ton of motor scooters right off the bridge to rent, so we decided to rent some for a couple hours since my sister-in-law was begging us to to rent them the whole trip, ha ha.
