Thank you Wilderness Hotel for hosting our stay. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
We had the opportunity to go back to Wilderness Resort last weekend, and we had so much fun! It was a great way to escape the holiday craze and escape the cold weather. They have recently finished renovating their rooms and the Wild West Waterpark.
The Room
We stayed on the 3rd in a Double Suite which had two queen beds and a pullout sofa. These hotel rooms received new paint, carpet flooring, counter tops, furniture, artwork, televisions and new windows from maverickwindows.com/window-replacement-houston. You can also upgrade this room room style to Woods view, Pool View, or Pool View Ground Level for a nominal fee.
Take Flight
Take flight on a journey to the North Polar on the Polar Express featuring classic scenes from the movie. This experience will run from November 18th, 2022 through January 16th, 2023.
Wild West Waterpark
The Wild West Waterpark, which was recently renovated, – is our favorite of the 4 indoor waterparks Wilderness Resort has to offer. Experience Twisted Trails, a new two-lane dueling tube ride (this ride was our favorite!), and Warped Wagons, a brand new two-lane dueling mat racer. These new slides feature eye-popping translucent slide effects and multiple rally points where riders will be able to see their competition dashing down next to them. Ransack Ridgechildren’s play and spray feature has been completely redesigned and popular rides like The Black Hole extreme tube ride and Fantastic Voyage family raft ride have remained. Also, brand new is YeeHaw’s Watering Holeswim-up bar and reimagined western-themed cabanas!
