Happy Friday friends! I am finally getting around to sharing with you my day-to-day schedule, restaurants, shows, events and outfits from when I was in New York for Fashion Week!
Thursday:
On Thursday I was up at 3:3o am to catch my 6:00am flight to Chicago O’Hare. I ended up having 3.5 hour layover since my flight was delayed. I ended up not landing in NYC till 2:15pm instead of 1pm. I then met up with Taylor from Style is Everything Blog and Brooke from In A World of Bees at the airport and took an Uber to our hotel. We stayed at the Shoreham hotel near Central Park. We got settled into our hotel and then left a couple hours later to walk Times Square and get something to eat. We headed back to the hotel around 8 and then went straight to bed since we had to be up early the next day.
Friday:
I was up at 7:00am to get ready and start the day. I left the hotel and then headed to my first showroom appointment at Baublebar. I absolutely love Baublebar and loved viewing all of their beautiful pieces. They are my go-to place for when I am looking for new jewelry. After the appointment there I headed straight to brunch because I was starving. We ate ate at this really cute restaurant called La Pecora Bianca that was near Madison Square Garden. When we finished eating we walked around the area and found some great locations to take some blog photos. I swear we picked the wrong time of day to take photos because we were all sweating our butts off after 10 minutes of shooting We flagged down a cab back to our hotel and rested up and showered till we had our first presentation that night. The Katie Gallagher show was very interesting to say the least – All of her pieces were black and some were very revealing. It was a great show but very crowded and there was no AC. We then headed to the Demoo Parkchoonmoo show – all of his pieces were gorgeous. We hadn’t ate since brunch so we stopped at the popular restaurant called “Shake Shack” and had some burgers and fries which were so good. We walked back to our hotel and then went straight to bed since Saturday was going to be a busy day for us.
For the Baublebar showing, I wore this suede skirt and off the shoulder top with my favorite black booties. I then changed into another outfit for when we went to the night shows.
If you missed my first post recapping photos from New York, you can find that here.
Thank so much for stopping by and have a great weekend! xx

Thanks so much for following along Ada! It was so much fun!
I can’t wait to go back to NYC – it’s so gorgeous there. Both times I went in the colder months, so it would be great to visit when it’s warmer out so I could explore outdoors a lot more.
I can’t wait to go back next year! I don’t dare go in the Winter time because I don’t want to freeze my butt off. Iowa has cold enough winters the way it is, ha.
So jealous. You look phenomenal.
Thanks Chelsea!
