Hello everyone, I hope your weekend was swell. Can anyone else believe that February is here already? January flew by so quickly! On another note, as you all have probably noticed, the blog got a fresh new look over the weekend. I really love how it turned out. What do ya’ll think of it?
If your needing some date ideas for Valentine’s Day, I have round up a list of fun things to do. How are you and your love spending Valentine’s Day?
Dinner & a Movie
This is a no brainer here and something every couple usually does. Last year Gavin and I ate at Olive Garden and then went and seen Fifty Shades of Grey.”
Couple’s Massage
Do something relaxing and something you would both enjoy by getting a couple’s massage. This year I made an appointment for Gavin and I to get one done and I can’t wait.
Shopping
Every girl loves shopping, so why not take her and have her pick out her Valentin’s Day gift, and maybe spoil your guy as well and get him something as well.
Mini Golf
Mini golf is so much fun and inexpensive. Play a round together and then grab some ice cream after.
Bowling
Invite a few couples and have them join you for a couple games of bowling.
Hiking
Pack some lunch and then enjoy a nice walk through nature.
Snow Day
If you have snow, take your sleds, and snowboards out for some fun, or even build a snowman. Afterwards, go inside and enjoy some hot chocolate.
Netflix & Chill
We all know that this is everyone’s guilty pleasures. So why not just save some and stay home for the day cuddling and watching Netflix? I know this is what we will be doing that night.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great Monday! xx

I think a hike would be such a cute date! I love all of these ideas!
Mikayla | A Seersucker State of Mind.
Thanks Mikayla! If it wasn’t cold and didn’t have snow, I would definitely go on a hike.
2 valentine’s ago, house of cards came out on 2/14, so we literally made dinner and binged anon that all night.

That sounds fun!
Shopping. Yes, I’m always down for shopping! lol… I wish we had snow here in Cleveland. This season has been making me pout. We’ve had snow for like 3 days total. 🙁
Karen | GlamKaren.com
I would love to go shopping on VDAY, but I don’t know how the hubby would feel about that. I want the snow gone! We are supposed to get a huge snow storm tomorrow… possibly a ft of snow!
I love your new design, by the way!
YES to bowling or mini golf — those are two of my favorites.
xoxo, Jenny
Thanks so much Jenny! I haven’t gone bowling in forever!
these are all great choices! I would love to go mini golfing but too cold here!! haha
I would do that too, but I am in the same boat. I live in Iowa and we are getting a huge snow storm tomorrow.
Hope that you and your husband will have a wonderful Valentine’s Day!! I am (very) single this year but these are wonderful ideas for if you have someone special!

love this!! I will most definitely be going to the movies haha
I have a feeling that a lot of couples will be doing this.
All of these date ideas are great! I think Ben and I are going out on Saturday night for dinner and drinks and then on Sunday, Valentine’s, we will probably get lunch and see a movie. We will be celebrating 7 years, so I am excited!
Love your new site as well, so cute!
Xo,
Brittany || http://www.prettyandsassy.com
Thanks Brittany! Sounds like you have some fun plans! I’m not sure what we are actually doing on VDAY yet.
A picnic and hiking would be my first choice hands down! So so cute. I love your new design, your site looks amazing!

That sounds like so much fun Kayla!
Could you talk my hubby into getting us a couple’s massage? That would be something new for us and I’ve always wanted one.
Haha, how could he not want a massage?!
Such great ideas and love the new site design! So clean and perfect,

I can’t wait for ours! 🙂
Love these date ideas! I’m not a big fan of making valentines day a big to-do so the hiking idea sold me!!!! What a great idea!
Thanks Jordan! Going on a hike sounds like a great idea.
Always down for dinner and a movie – I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of dressing up and going out. 🙂

Thanks so much Cameron! <3
Justin and I will definitely be seeing a movie and dinner for our VDay date. We were having a hard time determining what movie to see but I think we have a winner! Also, your blog design is so cute! Very clean and refreshing, love it!
Thanks Courtney! If you are still looking for a movie to see, Gavin and I saw “13 hours” last weekend and it was so good.
Great date ideas! We will be going to a nice dinner together and enjoying our time together kid free. Hope you and your Hubby have a great one.

It’s funny how we think of the same ideas 😉
What great ideas! I am totally NOT a dinner and a movie kinda girl, so some of the latter options are right up my alley! My BF and I almost always get a couples massage on V-day as well as our anniversary, so that is definitely in the works for us!
Thanks Tiffani! Wow, every VDAY and anniversary?! That would be awesome. This will be out first massage.
So adorable, really love this look! I have got to get me some of those shoes, I’ve been wanting some for quite some time!
Great date ideas!!
xo

Loving this list! I know we’ll be going to dinner, but idk if we have plans yet for the rest of the day!
Thanks Allison! I’m not sure what we will be doing.
I love a quiet evening at home or to go out. Depends on my mood lol.
