TGIF babes! Taylor, Victoria, Lacey and I sharing our first Style X Style post of 2017 with you! I am so glad I started this series back in June and I am so excited to have these awesome ladies to do this series with. To kick off 2017 we decided to choose a trend that we loved wearing last year and that will probably be even more popular this year. 2016 had so many trends that made a reappearance again, and velvet would have to be my favorite out of all of them. So, if you haven’t already guessed it, this month I decided to style velvet for our Style x Style post.

I actually snagged these velvet babes for only $22 (say what?!) at Express during their huge clearance sale. They are super comfy and I absolutely love the texture of them. Unfortunately these sold out super quick, but I did link a couple other options below. I have been living in leggings literally all Winter long, and I am not complaining about it, considering that jeans are so very uncomfortable for me right now.

How fun is the back of this top? It was a bit chilly wearing it, but I love that it criss crosses in the back, it’s a super soft material, comes in white, and it currently on sale for $16! I love all the end of the year/beginning of the year sales that all the stores have. You can score so many items for such a great price!

    When I read “velvet leggings” I wasn’t sure what to expect but these look great! I don’t know if I could pull them off though.

      Thanks Cori! I think anyone can pull them off. The only thing that differs them from other leggings is the texture.
