My sunflower dreams came true yesterday! I was finally able to take some photos in a sunflower field! I had posted on Facebook last week that I was looking for a field of sunflowers to take photos in, and no one knew of any in the area, until my parents neighbor had posted their sunflower field on Facebook. It couldn’t of been perfect timing because the sunflowers were so tall! My mom and I spent almost a whole hour here taking photos, I’m sure it could’ve been longer, but we had Kamden with us, and he was tired and ready to go.

I tried finding a yellow dress to wear for these photos, but I didn’t have any luck finding one, so I opted for this white apron ruffle romper from American Eagle. The material is a woven crepe fabric with a wavy texture. It has a linen laced front and an elastic waist which is very flattering and I absolutely love the ruffle sleeves and bottoms. It’s under $50 and also comes in black. I am wearing a small, but should’ve grabbed an XS since it was big on my shoulders.

    What a beautiful romper! I always assumed that apron style pieces would be too “cutesy” or “stay-at-home-mumsy” for my tastes but I actually REALLY like this outfit.
